Your expert guide will lead you through iconic sites such as the Panathenaic Stadium, the Prime Minister’s residence, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament, and the Academy. On the Acropolis, you’ll discover the Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Erechtheion, and the iconic Parthenon. Then, explore the treasures of the new Acropolis Museum. After a delightful lunch, you’ll journey along the scenic coastal road to Sounion, where the Temple of Poseidon offers breathtaking views of the Saronic Gulf.
Your journey begins with a scenic drive past Stafylos Beach and Agnontas Bay, arriving in the charming village of Panormos with views of Milia Beach. Explore the abandoned Palio Klima village, the lush Neo Klima, and the picturesque Glossa village. Visit the iconic Saint John’s Chapel, known as the “Mamma Mia” wedding church, before heading to Loutraki, Skopelos’ second port. The tour ends at Kastani Beach, a famous ‘Mamma Mia’ location, where you can swim and enjoy lunch in Panormos.
The first stop is Alonissos National Marine Park and Patitiri, where you’ll have 2 hours to explore the village, visit the local museum and information center, or take a bus to the Old Town, a beautifully preserved traditional settlement.
Next, you’ll enjoy 1.5 hours at Agios Dimitrios Beach for swimming, followed by 2 hours at Leftos Gialos Beach, where you can swim or savor homemade local dishes and fresh fish at nearby taverns.
During the tour, you’ll visit islets like Peristera and Skandzoura, home to Mediterranean seals, seabirds, and wild goats, with possible dolphin sightings along the way. Short photo stops will also be made at coastal villages such as Kokkinokastro and Votsi.
Your journey through Skopelos’ charming historical town begins at the Church of Panagitsa of Pirgos, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, and the ruins of the Venetian castle. You’ll pause for a 10-minute break to take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the settlement and the northern Aegean.
As you continue, you’ll wander through the narrow, picturesque streets of the old town, passing the castle and soaking in the traditional island architecture. Along the way, you’ll visit a local home turned museum, offering a glimpse into 19th-century life. Your adventure ends with a delightful tasting of the local “Stafylos” wine, paired with delicious traditional meze.
